Hello everyone I would like to take a moment to let you know how the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club is doing.

We have been training for a month and a half and this past weekend we traveled to Saskatoon to attend the Goldfin Invitational.  It was a great time to see where the club is at compared to last year.

Our swimmers swam incredibley! Our skills have improved a ton! If the swim wasn’t a best time it was still a huge success because each swimmer has improved on technique and race strategy so much. Of course we all look at personal best as a how we are doing as swimmers and for the first meet overall we swam 66% personal bests, with some swimmers 100% personal bests: Mackalie Bates, Sophie Bilodeau, Angelo Borja, Jessica Gill, and last but not least Shannan Spademan.

We also had a club record broken by Kendall Horan in the 50 Free, in 27.10, who won the competitions high point award for girls 15 & Over.

A couple other swimmers did place in top 3 positions as well: Emma Kress and Nachelle Spademan.

Many others made finals which is always exciting to get up and race a second time for a medal.

Of course we are always looking to improve position, in order to do that our club will continue to focus on skills and bettering each swimmer, and improving their confidence in themselves. While focusing on what we can change and not what the others are doing our club will continue to progress as a team and achieve the goals we have set both individually and as a team.
