Police search for 7-Eleven armed robbers

Oct 30, 2015 | 4:54 PM

The Prince Albert Police are investigating an armed robbery at the East Hill 7-Eleven.

Police were called to the gas station and convenience store, located at 606 Branion Drive, just before 3 a.m. on Oct. 26.

Two suspects entered the store, one carrying what appeared to be a firearm, and demanded cash.

The suspects fled eastbound on foot making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Both suspects were approximately six feet tall wearing similar clothing and masks.

Anyone with any information in regards to this incident is asked to contact the Prince Albert Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

At a recent Ward 5 meeting, residents in the area aired their concerns over certain patrons the 7-Eleven attracts.

Many claimed because the store is open 24/7, it draws loitering, public disturbances, looting, vandalism and theft to the surrounding area.
