Mustangs clip Hawks 5-3

The Melfort Mustangs continue to show their dominance in the SJHL’s Sherwood Division.
 
Friday night, the Mustangs beat the Nipawin Hawks 5-3.
 
The Mustangs scored three of their goals in the second period.
 
Dawven Berggren scored twice for the Mustangs.  Justin Boyer, Travis Mayan and Eric Sinclair also scoring.
 
The Mustangs improve to 12-2-1-1 while the Hawks slip to 10-5-1-0.
 
The two teams will play again Saturday night at the Northern Lights Palace in Melfort.
