Plane makes emergency landing near Martensville

A small plane had to make an emergency landing near Martensville earlier Friday.

It appears the pilot suffered some mechanical trouble shortly after take off.  The pilot had to touch down in a field near highway 12 just missing some power lines.

The pilot was uninjured and the plane stayed intact.

There will be not any further investigation by Transport Canada.
