Raiders add Ty Mappin

Ty Mappin is joining the Prince Albert Raiders.

The 19 year old forward comes from the AJHL’s Drumheller Dragons after putting up 24 points in 22 games this season.

Mappin had 18 points in 68 WHL games following his 8th overall selection by Everett in the 2011 Bantam Draft.

The Red deer native won a silver medal with Team Pacific at the 2013 World Under 17 challenge.

Meanwhile Goalie Ian Scott is returning after leading Team Canada White to a gold medal at this year’s event. The 16 year old had a 3-1 record with a save percentage of .900.

Monday at 6pm head coach Marc Habscheid returns for 900 CKBI’s face off. The Raiders host Saskatoon Friday.
