Failed clamp responsible for Big Dig falter

A lane restriction on 2nd Ave W. will continue Tuesday morning.

The far right southbound lane is closed at 14th St. Traffic is using the other southbound lane.

The city had a “water failure” over the weekend. 

Mayor Greg Dionne informed paNOW Monday night that the source of the problem is a clamp that did not hold where the plastic pipe meets the steel pipe.
