Hope off to Minot State in the fall

Prince Albert’s Jordyn Hope has committed to Minot State University Beavers to play on their softball team in Minot, North Dakota.

MSU made the announcement on Wednesday.

“We are really looking forward to having Jordyn on our pitching staff next year,” Bill Triplett, MSU head coach said in a statement. “She has a good drop, screw, rise, curve and change and I really like the fact that she’s a lefty. She also has pin point control. Jordyn tossed a couple shut outs last year at the national tournament and only gave up six runs in six games which is very good.”

Hope has helped the Prince Albert Aces to medals at the provincial and national level: silver at the 2015 provincials with the Under-18 Aces and a national berth. With the Under-16 Aces, Hope won gold at provincials in 2014 and gold at the 2013 westerns.
