Strong Performance From PA Sharks Swim Club in Provincial

Four swimmers from the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club participated in the ManSask Championship July 4-8 in Winnipeg.

Swimmers went on to put in some fantastic performances over the weekend, including posting personal best times, said head coach Hazem Hussein.

Highlights from the Championship:

Sophie Bilodeau came fourth in the 50- and 200-metre breaststroke and sixth in the 100-metre breaststroke. She also qualified to represent Team Sask in the Western Canada Games set for Swift Current in August.

Liam Murphy achieved a “AA” time in the 50-metre freestyle and swam personal best times in 200-metre breaststroke, 50-metre freestyle and 50-metre backstroke.

The club offer a variety of programs to meet the kid’s potentials and ambitions not only on the competitive level but also on the non-competitive level.
