Bear mace wielding teens accused of assault

Three teenagers were arrested early Thursday morning in Prince Albert, in connection to a violent incident involving bear spray.
According to police, a 24-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were walking on the 500 block of Fifth Avenue E. when they were sprayed with bear mace.
A 17-year-old boy was caught soon after by police. Two girls, ages 15 and 17, were also arrested at the scene. One police officer was treated at the scene by Parkland Ambulance after he was spit on during the incident.
One of the youths was scheduled to appear at Prince Albert Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday. Another had their case adjourned to July 24.
