British Columbia’s Wark upsets Manitoba’s Fleury in Scotties tiebreaker
SYDNEY, N.S. — British Columbia’s Sarah Wark has earned the final spot in the championship round at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
The Scotties rookie defeated Manitoba’s Tracy Fleury 8-5 in a tiebreaker game Thursday morning at the national women’s curling championship.
Wark (4-3) joined a group from Pool A that includes Alberta’s Chelsea Carey (7-0), Northern Ontario’s Krista McCarville and Ontario’s Rachel Homan (both 5-2).
