Feb 11, 2019 | 3:06 PM

A man was arrested at the Frank J. Dunn Swimming Pool Sunday afternoon and charged with what P.A. Police are calling “sexual-based offences.”

Police said there was no physical contact with the victims and in order to protect the identity of the youth victims, they were not offering further information.

paNOW understands several police officers responded to the incident late Sunday afternoon and dispersed throughout the facility when they arrived on scene.

A parent said they saw officers questioning at least one pool user about what they may have seen.

A 29-year-old man was released following his first court appearance in Prince Albert earlier on Monday and is scheduled to return Feb.27.

His name is subject to a publication ban.

The city of P.A. was not immediately available to respond to a request for comment.

According to the City’s website, the pool is staffed with trained national lifeguards and all children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.
