Police make several arrests, seize drugs and guns

Police continue to investigate after a firearms complaint overnight. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Second St. E. around 4 a.m. this morning for a gunshots complaint.

Officers responded with the Police Service Dog Feebe and seized evidence from the area. There were no injuries in the incident and no arrests were made.

Man with gun and drugs

In an unrelated investigation on Wednesday morning, officers arrested an 18-year-old man in connection to an incident in the 400 block of River St. W. When police attended, they questioned a man riding a bicycle, who later fled from police and was subsequently arrested.

Officers found him to be wanted on outstanding warrants and in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana along with a firearm and ammunition.

Stolen vehicle

Police recovered a stolen vehicle yesterday morning around 10:30 a.m. in the 800 block of 12th St. W. Officers located a sawed-off shotgun in the trunk of the vehicle along with a stab-proof vest. Officers seized both.
