National Adoption Weekend is happening May.17 to 19 at the PetSmart store at 601-801- 15th St E.
PetSmart Charities of Canada along with the Meadow Lake & District Humane Society and Northern Animal Rescue are hoping to find homes for 30 pets during the event – across Canada the goal is to find homes for over 2,114 pets.
This year PetSmart Charities of Canada has launched its new Adoption Ambassador program, a group of specially trained associates who can help explain the adoption application process, introduce adopters to a representative from the animal welfare organizations and provide guidance on how to integrate a new pet into the family.
