Dragons stumble in Lashburn

After going undefeated last Thursday in Saskatoon, the Sask. Rivers Dragons had a far more challenging weekend in Lashburn, losing two out of the three games they played.

In their opening game Saturday against Lashburn Lucky, the Dragons won 15-5. Tries were scored by Parker Elphinstone, Austin Belair, and Connor Elphinstone.

In the Dragons’ second game, they lost to the Badgers 10-7. The team’s only try was scored and converted by Austin Belair. The Dragons also played an exhibition game later against Lashburn Lucky and lost 15-10.

Next up for the Dragons is their home tournament May 11 at Prime Minister’s Park.
