Lock up valuables to prevent thefts: Police

Mar 19, 2019 | 11:35 AM

Local police are reminding residents to lock up their valuables following an incident overnight.

The warning comes after a 22-year-old man was arrested after he was spotted going through vehicles in the 1300 block of Fourth Street E.

The man is charged with possession of stolen property in relation to the incident.

With the warmer weather, the Prince Albert Police Service is reminding the public to keep their property safe by locking vehicles and keeping valuables out of sight.

Residents are also warned not to leave personal or banking information in their vehicles, and keep spare keys in a different location.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity in their neighbourhood is encouraged to call police.
