Man, 23, dies after being electrocuted on SK farm

An investigation is underway after a 23-year-old man from Mayview was killed in a workplace accident Monday.

RCMP say around 4:30 p.m., five men on a farm near Coleville were putting together grain bins for a farmer. The metal bins were being moved by a crane that touched a power line.

Kelly Bruce Rolston was electrocuted. While emergency crews from Kerrobert responded to the scene, they could not revive Rolston. The other workers were not hurt.

Rolston was working for a construction company from Shellbrook.

Police have handed the investigation to Occupational Health and Safety with the Ministry of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety.
