Vincent Cirillo condolences book, Sask. Legislature
While people in Ontario gather on the route being taken to bring Cpl. Nathan Cirillo’s body back to Hamilton from Ottawa, here in Regina, people are being invited to the Legislative building to sign condolence books for him and the other Canadian solider killed this week, Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent.
Both men were killed in attacks this week. Vincent died on Monday when he was struck in a targeted hit and run in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que. Cirillo died on Wednesday when he was shot while guarding the National War Memorial in Ottawa.
The condolence books are set out in the main entrance Friday and wil remain there until after the funerals for the two men.
The books will then be sent to the soldiers’ families.
