The Prince Albert A&W Bears completed the two game sweep over the Regina Rebels this weekend with a 4-1 win Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre.

After leading 2-1 heading into the third, the Bears scored two goals in the third to increase their lead. Sierra Parenteau scored her first career Midget AAA goal to make it a 4-1 game.

Jessica Vance picked up both wins for the Bears in goal, stopping 41 of 42 pucks she saw in both games.

On Friday, the Bears beat the Rebels 1-0, with Vance picking up her 13th career shutout—a Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League record. Rebels goaltender Tatum Shand, who played both games this weekend, has 12 in her career.
