Local Prince Albert store wins ABEX award

A popular local business in Prince Albert has picked up a provincial award.

Ted Matheson Men’s Wear was nominated for, and won, the ‘Community Cornerstone Award’, through the ABEX Awards.

According to the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce the ‘Community Cornerstone Award’ recognizes a local business that acts as an unofficial ambassador for the community, and otherwise may go unnoticed. 

In addition, the recipient business must also have a longstanding history in the community.

This award is the first of the ABEX awards where the recipient business is chosen by the public through online voting.
