Regina police looking into online post about Tamra Keepness

Regina police are investigating an online post regarding one of Regina’s most well-known missing person cases.

On Sunday, a post was made on the website Reddit titled ‘location of Tamra Keepness, check the wells.’ The post included a picture of a hand-drawn map.

Other users responded to the post, some saying it was “a sick joke, most likely.”

On Sunday night, the Regina Police Service released a recorded message regarding the anonymous post.
 
“As with all information offered in this case, it will be investigated as thoroughly as possible,” said Staff Sgt. Cory Culling in the message. However, Culling pointed out that police don’t know how credible the post is. 

Keepness was last seen in her home on the 1800 block of Ottawa Street on July 5, 2004. The five-year-old was reported missing the next day.
