Autism Services Free Workshops

Autism Services will once again be offering free workshops for parents and inviduals seeking information about autism.

The 2014 – 2015 workshops will be in the Victoria Square Education Room, Victoria Square (building east of the hospital) from 9 a.m.—12 p.m.

Dates and topics are:

• Nov. 12 – Parent-to-Parent Talk
• Dec. 10 – Prepping for Special Events…’Tis the Season
• Jan. 14 – Anxiety – Don’t Let it Paralyze You
• Feb. 11 – The Kid’s Not Just Lazy – Motivation
• March 11 – Independence and Life Skills at Any Age
• Apr. 8 – Autism: Everything You Wanted to Know but Were Afraid To Ask
• May 13 – Calming & Sensory Techniques – Body & Brain Strategies
• June 10 – Value of Play – Ready, Set, Summer.
