PA Sharks Do Great In Recent Competition
This past weekend, 13 swimmers from our club attended the Fall Freeze in Regina. This was our second competition this season and as head coach I am very proud of the athletes.
After an amazing first meet they came back and swam 50% personal bests! It is very difficult to continually improve on your best times and these athletes continue to do just that.
Some swimmers, namely, Shannon Spademan and Amy MacAuley, swam some important milestones and qualified for “A” provincials. That is the first step to qualifying for bigger and faster meets.
As always I am proud of the athletes because if they didn’t go a personal best their skills were better than they were in past races showing that when they are rested for a meet they will continue to do those great skills and swim even faster.
