The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired Colton Heffley from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick in 2016.
Heffley, 20, was born in Swift Current, and has spent his entire WHL career with the Rockets.
The six-foot, three inch, 206 pound Heffley had 83 points (23 goals and 60 assists) and 305 penalty minutes in 270 regular season games in the WHL.
“We are pleased to add Colton to our line-up. He is a versatile player that can play forward or defence and with our current injury situation will be a good addition to the team,” Bruno Campese, Raiders general manager, said in a statement.
