Winterize Your Car and Skin
Just as it’s time to winterize the vehicle whenever the snow flies, it’s time to winterize your skin.
First, check fluids. How is your cleanser? Is your skin feeling tight or dry immediately after cleansing? It might be time for a richer cleanser that has less lather. How is your moisturizer? Are you gooping it on now because your skin feels like it needs more than before? More is not better. It might be time for a richer moisturizer. What are you using for a night time serum or crème? Look for these powerhouse anti aging ingredients: peptides, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid, retinol, vitamin E and green tea. These bad boys are all clinically proven to improve the quality, health and beauty of many skin conditions – maturing skin being at the top of the list.
Second, get a tune up. Get an expert to look at your skin, give it a good clean and polish. A cold laser microderm works both on and in the skin to keep it healthy and beautiful. Your Technician can tell by working with your skin if there is anything you should be made aware of.
Last, spot check. Look for dents and dings that should be addressed before they become bigger problems. For example, how is the skin around your eyes? Is it becoming lined? Are your pores looking large or congested? Bring forth your observations to your Technician as soon as you detect changes. You’ve heard the old saying ‘An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.’ It’s not all in your head. You’re not being vain. Keeping your car clean and in good condition is seen as being mature and responsible. Your skin is an organ, your largest line of defense against infection. Be mature and responsible and keep it clean and in good condition.
