Did You Know… the Diocese of Prince Albert has a discernment house?  It is a place for men to better hear God’s voice in their lives.  Come and live in an environment of prayer and discernment.  There is spiritual guidance, a private chapel, and low rent rooms for those working or going to school.  St. Brother André Bessette Discernment House is located at 461-12 St. West in Prince Albert.  For more information, contact Fr. May 23, 2015 – Chef Fr. Leo Patalinghug (On YouTube) – Fr. Leo Patalinghug will be here on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Carlton Comprehensive Public High School (665-28 St. East, Prince Albert).  With his unique style he will speak to youth, married couples and families. Sacred Heart Cathedral 100th Anniversary Celebration

Buy the Sacred Heart History Book “Our Faith Journey” is a beautiful guided tour through the Cathedral, with colored photos of religious symbols and what they mean to our faith.  They are available for sale at the Sacred Heart Cathedral office (306-763-2319) or the Diocese office for $25.00, a great gift or addition to anyone’s library.

CWL Prince Albert Looks for Volunteers – Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s League has taken on the responsibility of providing funeral lunches for the parish.  They find the experience very fulfilling and a great opportunity to reach out to fellow parishioners in a time of need.  A request is being made for volunteers to help prepare and serve at funeral lunches.  If you are able to help, please call Shirley at 306-981-2533 or Edna at 306-922-1461. 

St. Louis CWL Advent Project, Christmas Tree For the Children – Please donate winter clothing items or nonperishables to help us decorate our tree for Christmas!  We will be putting toques and mitts and scarves on the tree as decorations, non-perishable food items under the tree as presents and items like coats and ski pants, in a box for distribution.  All donations will be distributed by the CWL to charities in our diocese, deadline is Dec. 21.  If you cannot bring your items to church, please bring them bagged/boxed to Jim & Ann Lepine 338 – 4th Street and leave it in the breeze way.
