Volunteers Needed for SPCA New Year’s Eve Raise the Woof

Dec 11, 2014 | 10:03 AM

The Prince Albert SPCA needs help with volunteering at the New Year’s Eve event being held at the P.A. Exhibition Centre with the proceeds going to the Prince Albert SPCA.

A minimum of three bartenders, at least two enthusiastic 50/50 ticket sales people, two people to sell drink ticket sales, three people to supervise the silent auction, two or more people to help with the door prizes which will be scheduled every 15-20 minutes until 11:00pm (depending on how many prizes are accumulated), and at least two people to help with general clean up throughout the night (beer cans, garbage and empty glasses on the tables, checking washrooms) are needed.

So, as you can see, a minimum of 20 volunteers will be required.  The more volunteers, the less the load for everyone!

Please let me know if there are any volunteers within your organization that could help out at this fantastic event.

We are hoping for a sold out event, which will be 500 tickets.  The theme is “Wear your Rider Gear”, but having said that, it will be a very classy event.  There will be fine linens of black, white, silver, and of course, Rider Green adorning every table.  A glass centerpiece with a glowing candle in a sea of green gel as well as curled ribbons of green and silver, will accent.  Party hats and noisemakers will be at every place setting.  As the clock counts down, champagne will be served in time for the stroke of midnight.

THIS will be a party to remember!

There will be a comedy team called Raise the Woof, a minimum of six Saskatchewan Roughriders, Lone Wolf Catering at midnight, Maxwell Music, cash bar, 50/50 draw, door prizes, silent auction items and tons of fun!
