Ottawa Redblacks, Calgary Stampeders matchup a clash of hot offences
CALGARY — With both quarterbacks throwing a lot of passes to a lot of receivers just days ago, Thursday’s game between the Ottawa Redblacks and host Calgary Stampeders will be a stiff test of each team’s defence.
Both football clubs are coming off high-scoring wins.
Stampeder quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell spread 324 passing yards among nine different receivers in a 41-7 thumping of the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday.
Redblacks counterpart Trevor Harris employed seven receivers for 345 passing yards in a 40-17 dismantling of the Saskatchewan Roughriders last week.
