RCMP charge man after North Battleford standoff

Charges have been laid in the wake of an RCMP standoff in North Battleford.
24-year-old Gabriel Poundmaker is facing several counts, some of them dating back to Jan. 5.
Among the charges are one count of pointing a firearm and two counts of possessing a weapon while prohibitied. He’s also charged with fleeing from police and dangerous driving.
Poundmaker was arrested without incident after a lengthy standoff on Thursday.
