February 11, Annual World Day of the Sick – This year marks the 23rd World Day of the Sick. For this event, Pope Francis sends his message to all the sick, as well as professionals and volunteers in the field of health care.  This year’s theme invites us to reflect on a phrase from the Book of Job: “I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame” (Job 29:15).  His full letter is available on the Pastoral Care webpage: http://padiocese.ca/diocesan-programs19/pastoral-care-commission/1182-pope-francis-message-for-2015-world-day-of-the-sick.html.  For more information on Pastoral Care and your parish, contact Fr. Dong at 306-883-2243 (Spiritwood) or josdong70@yahoo.com.
