St. Mary girls show off skills in weekend tournament

The St. Mary High School senior boys weren’t the only basketball champions over the weekend.

The senior girls held their own when taking on rival Carlton Comprehensive High School during the North Battleford Comprehensive Tournament.

The girls took a win against Meadow Lake 61-55 in the quarterfinal and then 65-63 against Swift Current in the semi-final. 

They beat Carlton in the final game 45-42 to take gold at the tournament.
