Bears captain sets sights on U of S Huskies
Another Prince Albert A&W Bears team member will be hanging up her jersey and heading for bigger things next season.
Team captain Morgan Willoughby has signed on to play for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in the 2015-16 season.
For the past four years, Willoughby has played 93 games with the Bears, although her final season was cut in half due to an injury from the pre-season.
In a statement announcing her leave, team manager Bruce Vance said that “she is a true leader” and it was her “dedication, commitment, and hard work” that put her back on the ice a month ahead of when she was expected to return.
