Roughriders QB Zach Collaros out for West semifinal against Blue Bombers

REGINA — Roughriders quarterback Zach Collaros has been scratched from the West Division semifinal against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Canadian Brandon Bridge will get the start at QB and be backed up by David Watford and Drew Tate.

Collaros was hit in Saskatchewan’s regular season finale on Oct. 27 against B.C. after taking a hit late in the first quarter.

He passed concussion protocol and practised all week but wasn’t healthy enough to play.
