CRCEC high school’s duct tape challenge raises funds for Fort McMurray evacuees

Constable Robin Cameron Education Complex (CRCEC) High School had an idea that stuck, quite literally, when it came to raising funds for their award day.

The school’s junior chief and council made $1,000 after selling pieces of duct-tape used to stick their principal Sheldon Couillonneur to the wall yesterday, May 11.

“Everything was to go to our awards day but they (junior chief and council) decided to send $500 to Fort McMurray evacuees and $500 will go to our awards day June 23,” Nicole Gamble, one of the workers at CRCEC, said.

Gamble said a couple of years ago, Couillonneur shaved his head to help raise funds for breast cancer.
