Agecoutay sentenced in death of Indian Posse gang leader
One of the men charged in the killing of Daniel Wolfe, the founder of the Indian Posse changed his plea today.
Ryan Agecoutay, 27, pleaded guilty to manslaughter, as well as the attempted murder of Chayenne Nelson, another inmate involved in a jailhouse brawl in January that resulted in Wolfe's death.
Agecoutay was sentenced to 10 years in prison for both counts. He is currently incarcerated for aggravated assault, prison breach, and assault with a weapon. He will serve the new ten year sentence concurrently.
His scheduled early release was for Aug. 3, 2013. With this additional sentence, he will not be eligible for release until Dec. 2020.
