Keith Scott Broderick
1959 – 2026
It is with profound sadness the family of Scott Broderick announce his passing on October 29, 2026, at the Rose Garden Hospice at the age of 67 years following several years of medical challenges.
Scott was the youngest of six children born to parents Mavis and Lynn Broderick. As a youth he spent his summers at Emma Lake and from that experience he fulfilled his desire to live in the Lakeland area in his adult life enjoying the lakes and the outdoors. Many summers were spent water skiing and fishing, and hunting in the fall. He definitely was a jack of all trades and tackled plumbing and construction jobs with pleasure. Woodworking became another hobby. Just enjoying a simple life visiting and reminiscing with good friends and family fulfilled his needs.
Scott is survived by and will be deeply missed by his partner of 25 years, Jackie Speetjens and her children Justin (Kelly) and Jaylynn; his brothers, Dale and Gerry; and sister, Lynda and her sons, Scott and Sean. He was predeceased by his parents, Mavis and Lynn; brothers, Brent and Dave; Jackie’s son, Jason; and brother-in-law, Rod.
At Scott’s request no formal service will be held.
Donations in memory of Scott to the Rose Garden Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
