Pet first aid course comes to Prince Albert
Imagine being out for a walk with your pet and they somehow get injured or sick, but there are no available veterinarians nearby on call.
That’s where Prince Albert’s Lynn Crossman comes in and on Oct. 24, she’ll be teaching a first-of-its-kind pet first aid course at East End Hall. Crossman, who received her instructor certification last May and has experience as a vet tech, said with a lack of available options in the city, people have to travel to Saskatoon or Melfort.
“If something happens after hours, you need to know what to do,” she said.
