Doug was born on December 26, 1959, in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, and was quickly adopted by his loving parents, Gilbert and Irene Engen (née Erdman) in Prince Albert where he lived the rest of his days.

He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends throughout the midtown area, as well as the neighborhood dogs who could always count on him for a friendly treat along his scooter path.
Doug is greeted in the spirit world by his parents, Gilbert and Irene; his sisters, Cecile and Darlene; his brother, David; and his brother-in-law, Ken.
At Doug’s explicit request, no formal service will be held.
