A close friend of Sunday’s shooting victim says he was shot in the head but is in stable condition and already released from the hospital.

The friend says the victim was shot with a 12 gauge birdshot which is a type of shotgun shell filled with many small lead, steel, or bismuth pellets. It is designed mainly for hunting small game, waterfowl, and upland birds, or for breaking clay targets in trap.

No word yet on the suspect. The Friend also said the victim was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The neighbours who spoke to paNOW described hearing a single gun shot and described the house as problematic.

paNOW is awaiting comment from police and Parkland Ambulance.
