Police seek witnesses after Prince Albert assault

Prince Albert police are asking the public for information after two men were assaulted by a group of males Tuesday night.

Police were called to the unit block of River Street West at about 9:37 p.m. Aug. 11 for a report of an assault involving multiple males.

The individuals involved had left the area before officers arrived.

Police say their investigation indicates two men were assaulted by a group of males. One of the victims is believed to have suffered serious injuries.

Following the assault, the two men left the area in a grey Ford F-150 pickup truck towing a boat covered by a tarp.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the assault or has information that could help identify those involved to contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.

Police are also asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone or other video footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.

Anonymous tips can be submitted online.
