Alfred (Fred) Joseph Tessier was born August 26, 1951, in Birch Hills, SK, the youngest of 6 children of Joseph and Agnes (Kusch) Tessier. Fred met Lucy and they were married in St. Louis in 1979 and they moved to the farm where they enjoyed their farm life. Fred and Lucy enjoyed exploring the world together. A highlight of their travels was a trip to Medjugorje. This was where Fred’s strong devotion to his faith was strengthened with a dedication to the rosary. Fred was a member of the Knights of Columbus in the St. Louis Parish. Many people enjoyed and anticipated his yearly visits promoting the Knights of Columbus Community Calendar. Fred is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Lucy (Boutin), his daughter Sheri Tessier and her children Dean and Dylan; his siblings: Alice Kellet, Joseph Tessier, Albert (Marge) Tessier and Marie (Bernard) Bernier; his In-laws: Sylvia (Paul) Semesock, Rita (Rick) Bernard, Emile (Bonnie) Boutin and Joseph Boutin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Agnes (Kusch) Tessier, his sister Olive Tessier, his in-laws Pierre and Jeanne Boutin, and his sister-in-law Jill Boutin. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 14th, 2026, at 10:30 am with Rev. Fr. Phong Tran as celebrant. Interment of the Urn will follow at the in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Fred may be directed to STARS Air Ambulance.
