Germany’s ‘Total Package’ makes Prince Albert debut

In addition to being the first-ever female Fight Factory Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Lory’s other achievements include holding the Bellatrix World Championship, the FFW World Heavyweight Championship (where she made history as the first woman to hold the title), and the 365 Pro Wrestling Global Women’s Championship.

This tour also represents Lory’s only second time in Canada. She said she loves seeing the young girls in the front row who have come with their parents.

“And they’re like we’ve never seen this before and they are having a good time and they get inspired by us which is quite cool.”

Lory stated she loves the touring aspect of her profession and especially seeing the wildlife. And of course when she was in Calgary, made a special point to get a photograph outside the infamous Hart House.

Lory’s venture into the business started when she was only 14 and thanks to her older brother, came by it almost accidently.

“I had never heard of wrestling and he was watching it on TV and I just popped by and said what’s this. It just stuck.”

Starting out as a manager, Lory idolized legends like Bobby Heenan and Sheri Martel.

“There was a lot of influence on my character,” Lory explained. “Just like the screaming on the rail outside the rings or being attacked by the guys because I kept cheating.”

Later in her career Lory’s other role models have included the likes of the Hardy Boys and of course Lita. Canadian Wrestling’s Elite show in Prince Albert starts at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
