Louis Dreyfus to add 140 jobs in Yorkton
A new pea production plant and an expanded canola processing at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) are bringing dozens of new jobs to Yorkton.
According to a release from the province, the changes to the company’s canola processing site will more than double its crushing capacity.
The new jobs will bring the company’s workforce up to 260 people by the end of 2026.
In the release, LDC Country Manager for Canada Brian Conn said the location has been an ideal one for the company, since it first began processing canola in Yorkton in 2009.
