Prince Albert police investigate death of baby girl

The Prince Albert Police Service Major Crimes Unit, with assistance of Saskatoon Police Service Forensic Identification Section, and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of a two month old baby girl.
On June 21, at 11am, officers and paramedics responded to a residence in the 600 Block of 19th Street West.
On arrival, paramedics performed life saving measures before transporting the infant to the Victoria Hospital. She was later transferred to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
On June 30, while still in hospital, the young infant passed away.
