Police said there did not appear to be any injuries to either man visible in the video. Investigators also said the suspect and victim appeared to know each other and the incident is not considered random.

At about 2:59 a.m., officers located the suspect vehicle back in the area of the original business. Police said the vehicle fled north on 15th Avenue East at a high rate of speed after its occupants noticed officers. No traffic stop had been initiated.

Additional officers searching the area immediately located the vehicle after it had collided with a house in the 1400 block of Fourth Street East.

Police said the occupants of the home were not injured, but the collision caused significant property damage.

Two women were arrested from the car, while a male suspect fled the area and was not located.

An initial search of the vehicle located a loaded sawed-off shotgun, which police believe had been used in the original offence.

A 20-year-old woman has been charged with several firearms offences. A 21-year-old woman has been charged with dangerous driving as well as firearms offences.

Both accused have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Monday, June 29.

The Prince Albert Police Service’s patrol division, proactive policing unit and forensic identification section continue to investigate. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Prince Albert Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
