Loaded sawed-off shotgun seized after suspect vehicle crashes into Prince Albert home
An investigation into an alleged assault with a weapon outside a Prince Albert business early Friday led police to seize a loaded sawed-off shotgun after a suspect vehicle later crashed into a house, leaving two women facing charges.
Prince Albert police said officers were first dispatched at about 2:19 a.m. to a business in the 2700 block of 15th Avenue East following a report of a man pointing a firearm at another man.
When officers arrived, both the suspect and the victim had left the scene.
Police said surveillance video from the business showed the suspect and another man physically fighting in the parking lot while the suspect was holding what appeared to be a firearm. The suspect left the area in a car before officers arrived.
