Acrobats, illusionist, and award winning musicians headline upcoming season at EA Rawlinson Centre

Jun 18, 2026 | 10:27 AM

According to the general manager of Prince Albert’s E.A. Rawlinson Centre, the 2026-2027 season has a little something for everybody.

The star-studded list of acts from Canada and abroad was unveiled Wednesday night and includes a Christmas show by Michelle Wright, acclaimed Illusionist Darcy Oake, a BMX circus, acrobats, a ballet and a comedy show called ‘God is a Scottish Drag Queen‘. Gen X fans are sure to snatch up tickets fast for Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk when they perform on Sept. 24.

Donny Parenteau presents his “Colours of the Sash” show on Sept. 23 and the Johner Brothers will perform on May. 15.

“Some people that really say Canadiana to me,” Philley said.

A new attraction this year is also a yet-to-be-named secret act on Sunday, Oct. 25. When asked for a hint, Philley would only say they are from the U.K., it’s about a notorious crime and it is a bluegrass style musical.

“So it’s very unusual,” she said.

There’s also a five-time Juno award winner (name not yet announced) coming next March and tickets go on sale in September.

The rest of the tickets are on sale now. People who buy tickets for three shows can save 10 per cent, 15 per cent when they pick six and 20 per cent if they buy a season pass.
