It is with heavy hearts that the family of Steven Beatty, Late of Montreal Lake, SK announce his passing on June 1st, 2026, at the age of 24 years. Steven was born in Prince Albert, SK on January 7th, 2002, to Geraldine Ross and John Beatty.  Steven was survived by his dad John Beatty (Cindy Bird), his adopted moms Norma Ross-Ballantyne and Agnes Naytowhow; his sister Rebecca Ross (Ambrose Gamble); his stepsisters Stacy Bird, & Jody Bird; his brothers Julian Ross & John Ross (Alaina Naytowhow); his stepbrothers Jorell Bird, Robert R Bird, Greg Hanson Bird, & Kevin Bird; his grandfathers Norman Ross Sr., & Steven Ross; his grandmother Hilda Ross; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Steven was predeceased by his mom Geraldine Ross; his brother Trevor Beatty; his aunties Gloria Beatty & Clara Charles; his uncles Thomas Beatty, Ronald Beatty, Wilfred Ross, & Bradley Ross; his grandparents Lulua Morrow, Nancy Morrow, Edward Beatty, Nancy Ross, & Able Ross; His great-grandparents Margaret (James) Ross, Rebecca (Gerry) Charles, & Abraham (Harriet) Bird.

A Visitation Service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Home at 11 AM on Thursday June 4th, 2026.

A Wake Service will be held in the Timber Bay School Gym in Timber Bay at 7 PM,

2nd Wake Service will be held on Friday June 5th, 2026, at 7 PM at the St Joseph’s Anglican Church in Montreal Lake, SK.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday June 6th, 2026, at 2 PM at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church.

Interment will take place at Montreal Lake Cemetery, Montreal Lake, SK.

The Eulogy will be read by Kimberly Beatty & Warren Beatty. The Clery will be Harry Halkett, Deacons Helen Roberts & Trevor Roberts; Lay Reader is Eli Roberts.
