Ron’s life was defined by his passion for the skies. Those who knew him will remember his extensive career in aviation, which began with flying his Cessna 120 over the Royal Community Pasture rounding up cattle. Over the decades his skills took him on many paths including charter passenger flights, freight transport, and aerial firefighting. In his retirement, Ron continued his commitment to the skies and his community as a dedicated volunteer for CASARA (Civil Air Search and Rescue Association) in Prince Albert.
A man who preferred and thrived on the simple things in life, Ron lived fully and contentedly on his own terms and in a manner of his own choosing .- independent, unpretentious, tenacious, amicable.
Beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend. Gone but remembered and cherished in our hearts always.
