It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mary Jane Sayazie, late of Black Lake, SK on April 20^th, 2026, at the age of 72 years. Mary Jane was born in Uranium City, SK on December 11^th, 1953, to Pat and Lucia Robillard. Mary Jane will be lovingly remembered by her husband Donald Sayazie; her children Derrick, Roberta, Donny, Karmen, & Amber; her grandchildren Daina, Darianna, Robyn, Heather, Michelle, Robert, Angela, Aaliyah, Delina, Aiesha, Deaundary, Alexis, Karl, Karleen, & Karlos; her great-grandchildren Robbie, Remedy, Ryler, Ross, Raylee, Zaylyn, Keenan, Hailey, Konner, Kaizen, & Haisley; her godchildren Alfred Jr Toutsaint, & Ashlyee Bigeye; her siblings Ron (Tina) Robillard, Paul Robillard, Lawrence (Elsie) Robillard, Mary Ann Robillard, & Elsie Robillard; her in-laws Martha Sayazie, Jimmy (Georgina) Sayazie, Dora (Thomas) Sha’Oulle, Yvonne Sayazie, Modest (Coreen) Sayazie, Mathew Sayazie, Joe, Sayazie, Peter (Mary Anne) Sayazie, Mervin Sayazie, Pauline Sayazie, & Mary Anne Robillard; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends. Mary Jane was predeceased by her parents Pat & Lucia Robillard; her siblings Joseph Robillard, & Elaine Hay; her grandchildren Delaney & Baby Ben; her parents-in-law Martin (Ann) Sayazie; her godfather Joe Dzeylion; her in-laws Philip Sayazie, Celine Sayazie, Horace Sayazie, Eileen Sayazie, & Boniface Robillard. A Visitation Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22^nd, 2026, at 5 PM at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Prince Albert, SK.  A Wake Service will be commencing Thurs, April 23^rd, 2026, at the residence of Donald Sayazie in Black Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 25^th, 2026, at 2 PM at the Our Lady of the Cape RC Church in Black Lake, SK. The Interment will take place at the Black Lake Cemetery. The Officiant will be Father Edmundo Cabellero. The Honourary Pallbearers are Helen Robillard, Helen Boneleye, Eileen Bruno, Elsie Medal, Mary Louis Disain, Mary Jane Yooya, Janella Boneleye, all her fellow co-workers at the school, all the students she taught throughout the years, and all those who knew and loved Mary Jane.
