It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Kristopher Laurin Gordon Lapointe on April 9th, 2026 at the age of 52, late of Penticton BC formally Prince Albert.

Kris is survived by his wife Crystal, his son Mark and his daughter Kaylin, his pride and  joys. He also leaves to mourn his mom Karen Hourie; brother Jody (Crystal); brother Matthew; his mother and father-in-law Verna and Richard April; sisters-in-laws Charlene, Christie (Donny), Charlotte, Chavone; brother-in-law Brandon; and best friend Mark Ebach. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kris was predeceased by his dad Mark Lapointe; his grandparents, Gordon and Margaret Hourie; and George and Kit Lapointe; and uncle Tony Lapointe.

Kris was born in Prince Albert on December 31st, 1974. Only four hours short of being the New Year’s baby. He did all his schooling in Prince Albert where he met the love of his life, Crystal whom he eventually married on June 19th, 1999. Kris and his son Mark and his brothers Jody and Matthew loved their time together fishing hunting and golfing. Sometimes mom got to go fishing too.

You will be so missed.

Funeral services will be held at a later date, with details to be announced and shared with family and friends as they become available. The family appreciates your patience, love, and support during this time.
