Alberta deepens ties with China through trade mission
Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation will travel to China diversify exports and drive long-term economic growth.
The mission to China is the first formal visit from an Alberta elected official since 2018.
RJ Sigurdson said the focus will be on strengthening trade relationships and positioning the province as a reliable supplier of high-quality agriculture and agri-food products.
He said this work supports Alberta’s agri-food sector and creates new opportunities for farmers, producers and processors across the province.
